An MoU was signed between the Central Bank of the UAE and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, regarding electronic linkage with local courts

An MoU was signed between the Central Bank of the UAE and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, regarding electronic linkage with local courts, to facilitate execution of judgments, court orders and decisions issued by Abu Dhabi Courts at all levels, including individuals, companies, and financial institutions. The MoU was signed by Central Bank’s Deputy Governor, Muhammad Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi and Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, with the presence of a number of senior officials from both parties.

The aim of the MoU is to establish strategic partnerships, organize means of cooperation in matters of mutual interest, and develop necessary mechanisms and means, such as electronic linking, which would ensure prompt and effective execution of judgments, orders, and decisions issued by Abu Dhabi Courts, which the Central Bank, can either execute or follow-up with institutions subject to its supervision.

Muhammad Al Falasi, said: “signing this MoU reinforces the continuous efforts exerted by Central Bank to support electronic transformation of services provided by federal and local entities and authorities, in line with the vision of the UAE’s prudent leadership for “Smart Government“.
