Consumers can now use the e-Dirham for instant payment to avail Dubai Municipality services without visiting its centers, officials announced.
The agreement and joint system, signed with the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, aims to reduce the number of visitors to government departments by 80 per cent through using an electronic payment system, the e-payment enables to pay fees anywhere by means of internet through a designed special window in municipality portal following the online procedures.
Also, the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi aims collect the revenue of government bodies and non-governmental organizations using a safer and more modern means.
