It is estimated that the rentals will continue to rise for the remainder of this year due to UAE’s new visa policy for job seekers.
Meanwhile, affordable areas suchas Deira, Dubai Sports City and Jumeirah Village recorded 11%, 15 % and 21%increase in rentals respectively.
As per Dubai Statistics Centre’s latest data, Dubai’s population has increased by over 100,000 since 2020, crossing the 3.5 million mark this April. However, it is still expected that as per the current pace, city-wide villa market rents to reach the rental hike as was seen in 2014, by end of this year and the apartment rents following through.
