Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued Resolution No 10 of 2015. The aim is to encourage more people to use bicycles as a means of transport in the emirate by making it safer and more accessible. Now RTA has to establish and maintain security and safety measures, signage boards, and establishing the terms, regulations and technical specifications for bicycles in Dubai.
